It was great because aside from the guided tour, we were able to wander and explore on our own in each city and make our own experience truly memorable. The Sagrada Familia guided tour was a bit long but still informative. We were boiling in the hot sun and some details could have been left out or explained while we were inside the Sagrada Familia. The Park Guell guide was too negative emphasizing that Gaudi’s park was a total failure. He should let us be the judge…it’s a beautiful park with Gaudi character.

The selection of hotels in each city was pretty good. Barcelona and Madrid were conveniently located closer to city centres. The nicest hotel was in Lisbon albeit having to take the subway to the city centre every day was a bit pricey.
