About the Experience

If food is an important part of a culture, Lisbon showcases this appetizing characteristic in different forms, textures and flavors as you walk through the city center.

We started with a visit to Mercado da Ribeira and took advantage of the opportunity for a coffee and a pastel de nata, breakfast the Portuguese way.

We then embark on the Tagus to the “margem sul” (south bank) where we will taste delicious seafood in the form of soup and a patty, enjoying the fabulous views of the capital.

Returning to Lisbon, toast to Portuguese gastronomy with a Ginja, then heading through Baixa Pombalina to another ex-libris of Portuguese gastronomy, the much appreciated Bifana, which makes even more sense when accompanied by an imperial (Portuguese draft beer).

Finally, the most illustrious guest of this gastronomic celebration… wine! A wine tasting accompanied by illustrious ambassadors of Portuguese gastronomy… bread, cheese and jams! To eat and cry for more!
