   • Consider purchasing the Sintra Card for discounted entry to several attractions and public transportation within Sintra.
   • Wear comfortable shoes as you'll be doing a fair amount of walking.
   • The drive from Lisbon to Sintra takes about 30 to 40 minutes, while the train journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
7. Day 7 Lisbon

   

   Suggestion for the Day: Explore Lisbon’s Riverside and Cristo Rei

   Lace up your walking shoes and get ready to explore Lisbon’s iconic riverside attractions and nearby gems. Enjoy scenic views, local flavors, and a relaxed day by the Tagus River.

   Start with Cristo Rei Monument

   • Begin your journey by crossing the river to visit the Cristo Rei statue in Almada. 
   • Take a ferry from Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas, and then a short bus ride to the towering monument. Inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer, Cristo Rei offers breathtaking views of Lisbon, the 25 de Abril Bridge, and the Tagus River.
   • Take in the panoramic scenery from the observation deck and capture some memorable photos.

   Riverside Lunch in Cacilhas

   Head Back to Cais do Sodré
