"It was a very positive one. The Pestana Royal was a very well run hotel and ideally located close to Funchal, with shuttle bus service twice a day there and back and with easy access (via its own personal elevator) down to the Praia Formosa beach and boardwalk. There were lots of choices at the buffet, hot and cold, and they didn't lack for imagination. Our flights went smoothly, thanks to your company, as did the transfer pick-ups to and from the airport. We would highly recommend your company and actually have already!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed Madeira and the city of Funchal. The Hotel was very good, rooms were clean , beds comfortable and the staff very helpful and accommodating. The location on the ocean, promenades to fishing village and Funchal, being close to town, shuttle and buses were perfect for us. The supervisor of the kitchen had the chef make a gluten free and dairy free dessert for my sister and I so we could indulge and enjoy something other than fruit and we greatly appreciated Manuela's and the chef's efforts. and it was tasty! Meals and service on the planes were very good too. Just the first the meal was bland chicken ( Gf Df) on the way back it was much better with a tomato sauce - thanks SATA. "

"My wife and I went to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The stay at the Pestana Grand was excellent. The hotel was clean, food was great,. I'm not a fan of buffet meals, but my wife and I really enjoyed the food, it was fresh with lots of choices.....the excellent deserts went well with a great cappuccino. The staff went above and beyond, all staff were very friendly and a special thanks to Sofia,Camila,Duarte Tania and the rest of the Staff, all great, thank you The grounds of the Pestana were perfectly manicured. Lots of great choices for adult beverages .....all day and evening too!"
