The package includes round-trip flights, all train transfers, and 4-star hotel accommodations - 3 nights in Porto, 3 nights in the Douro Valley, and a final night back in Porto for a stress-free return home (7 nights / 8 days total). The scenic train journey from Porto to Régua takes approximately 2 hours. Guided tours and meals are not included in the base price but can be added on request.

Porto hotels are carefully selected 4-star properties situated in or close to the city's main tourist areas - most within easy reach of São Bento station, the historic centre, and the Ribeira waterfront. However, a short walk may be needed depending on your property. In the Douro Valley, accommodations range from 4-star town centre hotels in Régua to exceptional wine estate stays - including properties like Quinta da Pacheca and Six Senses Douro Valley - set among the UNESCO-listed terraced vineyards. Upgrades and other preferences are available on request - just contact us. 

The Douro Historical Train is one of the world's most iconic railway journeys - a UNESCO World Heritage route running along the Douro Line between Régua and Tua, through the heart of the Douro Wine Region. Travelling in beautifully restored wooden carriages dating from 1912 to 1934, passengers are treated to a glass of Port wine, traditional Régua sweets, and the sounds of regional music as the train winds through 36 kilometres of terraced vineyards at a leisurely pace. The Douro Line is the only railway in the world connecting three UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the Historic Centre of Porto, the Douro Wine Valley, and the Rock Engravings of Foz Côa. Porto is one of Europe's most walkable cities - the historic centre, Ribeira waterfront, and most major attractions are easily explored on foot, with trams and metro as backup.
