Cruise along the canals in a moliceiro, and take in the beauty of this charming city from the water. Take the train from Porto to Lisbon, about 3 hours 35 minutes, through the countryside of central Portugal. Pssst.... transfer is included from your Porto hotel to Porto train station and once you arrive at Lisbon train station, a transfer to your Lisbon hotel is also included.

• Experience some of Portugal’s most iconic destinations in one day. Start at the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the world’s major Catholic pilgrimage sites, where you may attend Mass or explore the peaceful Shrine grounds.
• Continue to the Monastery of Batalha, a UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece that showcases the evolution of Portuguese Gothic architecture.
• Then head to the coast and discover Nazaré, the fishing town famous for giant waves and big-wave surfers. It’s also the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh, traditional Portuguese lunch.
• End your day in Óbidos, a romantic medieval village enclosed by ancient walls. Wander its cobbled streets, browse local crafts, and taste the town’s beloved cherry liqueur, Ginjinha.

The day starts at the Pena Palace, the 19th-century royal summer palace above Sintra, with gardens and viewpoints over the hills and the Atlantic. In the historic center of Sintra you have time to walk, try the local pastries, travesseiros and queijadas, and stop for lunch. In the afternoon the tour heads west to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, and ends in the seaside town of Cascais before returning to Lisbon.
