• Sintra’s Historic Town Center: Continue to the charming Town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its medieval streets, indulge in local pastries like Travesseiros and Queijadas, and savor the flavors of the region with a traditional lunch.
• Cabo da Roca: Head west to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Here, stand at the edge of the world as you take in the dramatic views of the cliffs where “The Land Ends and The Sea Begins.”

• Then head to the coast and discover Nazaré, the fishing town famous for giant waves and big-wave surfers. It’s also the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh, traditional Portuguese lunch.
• End your day in Óbidos, a romantic medieval village enclosed by ancient walls. Wander its cobbled streets, browse local crafts, and taste the town’s beloved cherry liqueur, Ginjinha.

We begin the evening in the heart of Alfama, where fado is sung the way it has been for generations. The room darkens, candles glow, and the first notes of the Portuguese guitar—with its twelve strings and unmistakable tone—fill the tavern. Voice and guitar intertwine, sometimes in harmony, sometimes in playful challenge, creating the intimate atmosphere that defines Lisbon’s most iconic music.

Just as tradition dictates, the singers choose each fado in the moment, guided by emotion and the energy of the room—an authentic expression of stories, longing, and saudade.
