1. Day 1 Welcome to Lisbon, Portugal

   

   • Arrive in Lisbon, where you will be warmly greeted by your English-speaking driver.
   • Enjoy a seamless transfer in a private sedan or minivan to your luxurious hotel in the heart of the city.
   • Check-in and unwind as you prepare for an unforgettable journey in Lisbon. We suggest taking a stroll around your hotel area to soak in the vibrant atmosphere and discover the local charm.

2. Day 2 Lisbon Tour (Included)

   

   9 AM - 1 PM: Full-Day Panoramic Sightseeing in Lisbon

   • Enjoy a full day of panoramic sightseeing in Lisbon, passing by some of the city's most important avenues and squares, including Marquês de Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade, and Restauradores.
   • Stop at the top of Edward VII Park to take in a magnificent view of the hills of Lisbon and the Tejo River.
   • Indulge in a brief stop for a coffee and a delicious “pastel de nata” at a local café in the city center.
   • Continue your exploration with a visit to Belém, where you'll see the most iconic monuments celebrating the historical golden age of the Portuguese Maritime Discoveries, including Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the Jerónimos Monastery.
   • Lunch is on your own, followed by a free afternoon to explore Lisbon at your leisure.

3. Day 3 Sintra Experience (Included)

   

   9 AM - 5 PM: Day Trip to Sintra and Coastal Exploration

   • Drive to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its stunning landscapes and cultural heritage.
   • Upon arrival, enjoy free time to wander through the historical center, exploring picturesque narrow streets lined with local craft stores, wine shops, and charming pastry houses. We recommend a visit to “Piriquita,” one of the most famous local cafés, to indulge in a “Queijada” or “Travesseiro,” two delightful pastry specialties.
   • Depart from Sintra and take the scenic winding road to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, known for its breathtaking views where “the land ends and the sea begins.”
   • Continue along the coastline, admiring the stunning vistas of Guincho Beach before arriving in Cascais.
   • As you make your way back to Lisbon, enjoy the coastal road passing by the iconic Estoril Casino and following the estuary of the Tejo River until you reach your hotel.
   • Enjoy lunch included at a traditional restaurant in the Sintra area.

4. Day 4 Óbidos, Nazaré & Aveiro Tour (Included)

   

   9 AM - 6 PM: Óbidos, Nazaré, and Aveiro, Concluding in Porto

   • Your first stop is Óbidos, a charming medieval town surrounded by well-preserved walls, resembling a picture postcard with its monuments, narrow winding streets, and whitewashed houses adorned with colorful flower-filled terraces. Enjoy free time to explore this enchanting destination, and we highly recommend trying a glass of “Ginginha,” the famous sour cherry liqueur served in a delightful chocolate cup. Continue your journey to Nazaré, one of Portugal's most renowned fishing towns, celebrated for its stunning coastline and record-breaking waves that have gained international fame. 
   • Enjoy lunch at a local seafood restaurant by the sea, savoring the flavors of the region.
   • After lunch, proceed to Aveiro, known for its picturesque estuary and charming canals, particularly the central canal that winds through the town. Admire the city’s Art Nouveau architecture and grand religious buildings. Take a moment to stop at a local café to indulge in the region's delicacy, “Ovos Moles de Aveiro.”
   • Finally, continue to Porto, Portugal's second-largest city and the capital of the north, whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

5. Day 5 Porto Experience (Included)

   

   9 AM - 12 PM: It's Time for Porto! 

   • Embark on a scenic drive through Porto to admire its main sights, including the Foz district, where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean.
   • Visit the stunning São Bento train station, renowned for its remarkable azulejos (traditional blue tiles), and see the contemporary architecture of Casa da Música. Don’t miss the iconic Clérigos Tower and the historic Cathedral, each a testament to the city’s rich heritage.
   • Enjoy free time to explore the picturesque “Ribeira” quarter, dominated by the silhouette of the Luis I Bridge, one of Porto’s most iconic landmarks.
   • Among the city’s highlights are the world-famous Port wines, which are matured in the wine lodges of Vila Nova de Gaia, located on the opposite bank of the river. Take the opportunity to visit one of the local wine cellars for a tasting of exquisite Port wine.
   • Lunch is on your own, followed by a free afternoon to delve deeper into the charm of Porto at your leisure.

6. Day 6 Douro Tour (Included)

   

   9 AM - 6 PM: Douro Valley

   • It's time for your full-day tour of the stunning Douro Valley, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes where hills cascade down to the river’s edge, adorned with terraced vineyards. This region is celebrated as the birthplace of Port wine, recognized as the world’s first demarcated wine region, established in 1756.
   • As you follow the river, stop at Pinhão, a picturesque village on the left bank known for its breathtaking views, and Régua, a charming small town that has played a vital role in the production and sale of Port wine.
   • Throughout the day, indulge in a visit to a local wine estate, where you will enjoy a delightful wine-tasting experience paired with a regional lunch, allowing you to savor the flavors of this iconic wine-producing region.

7. Day 7 Free Day in Porto

   

   Suggestion for the day: One-Day Trip to Gerês National Park

   Gerês National Park, officially known as Peneda-Gerês National Park, is a hidden gem in northern Portugal that offers stunning natural beauty and diverse landscapes. Located about 1.5 to 2 hours from Porto, it is the only national park in Portugal and spans over 700 square kilometers. The park is renowned for its dramatic mountains, lush forests, crystal-clear rivers, and cascading waterfalls. It is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including ancient oak trees, wild horses, and the elusive Iberian wolf. The park's serene ambiance and pristine natural environments provide a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. 

   Don’t Miss:

   • Gerês Village: Start your journey at Gerês Village, the main gateway to the park.  This village is known for its thermal springs, so if time permits, enjoy a rejuvenating thermal bath at the Termas do Gerês spa.
   • Vilarinho das Furnas Dam: Located a short drive from Gerês Village, this dam is home to a submerged village beneath its waters.
   • Albergaria Forest: Continue your journey to Albergaria Forest, known for its ancient oak trees and rich biodiversity. 
   • Pedra Bela Viewpoint: Next, visit the Pedra Bela Viewpoint, one of the most famous viewpoints in the park. 
   • Cascata do Arado: After lunch, head  to Cascata do Arado, one of the park’s most beautiful waterfalls.
   • Fecha de Barjas Waterfall (Tahiti Waterfalls): Close to Cascata do Arado, the Tahiti Waterfalls are known for their clear, turquoise waters and natural swimming pools. It’s a perfect spot for a refreshing dip and relaxation.
   • Fafião Village: This traditional village offers insights into local life and culture, and you can enjoy the rustic charm and hospitality of the residents.

   • Renting a car is the best way to explore Gerês National Park.
   • Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, as conditions can vary.
   • Wear sturdy hiking shoes for the trails and visits to waterfalls.
   • Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and a camera to capture the beautiful scenery.
   • Ensure your GPS or map app is updated, as some areas may have limited signal.
8. Day 8 Return Flight Home
