About the Experience
Experience is not needed in the Canyoning area or adventure sports to practice this activity with Aventour. The "Baptism" program is directed to those who have no training in the area of Canyoning, or maneuvering ropes.
The activity begins with a basic training in abseiling techniques and the first contact with the safety equipment and handling it.
The participants are monitored, all the way, by accredited guides and monitors of Aventour, who will maneuver the descent lines, and all safety procedures.
In addition to the progression on the water line (river) and abseiling descending waterfalls, sometimes we will jump into wells (optional) as well as overcome natural obstacles in the riverbed using some climbing techniques.
Our Canyoning Baptism routes include small verticals, not exceeding the 25 meters. The objective is to enjoy a new experience as well as all the natural surroundings around the canyon, always in a good mood.
