On this 3-hour boat trip, you may encounter some of the 28 cetacean species found in Azorean waters, including whales and dolphins, as well as turtles, seabirds, and other marine life. Before departure, a marine biologist will brief you on the species, safety measures, and responsible observation practices.

Recommendations:

• Catamaran trips are advised for pregnant women, young children (under 8), babies, and those with reduced mobility.

Then, jump back on the train to see some of Porto’s coolest sights before finishing your day with a relaxing 50-minute boat cruise on the Douro River. Our evening begins with the haunting melodies of fado, accompanied by the instruments that have long been the faithful companions of this soulful music: the Portuguese guitar, with its six pairs of strings producing a sound both distinctive and mesmerizing, at once supporting and challenging the singer’s voice. As the lights dim and we sing by candlelight, we are transported back to times when, after the day’s toil, people found solace in the quiet of the night, allowing emotions to be shared in the stillness.
