About the Experience
The excursion will begin in Ribeira Brava stopping on a view point with view over the village and the amazing banana plantations, the tour will follow to São Vicente where we will visit the volcanic caves and the volcanism center.
The tour will continue to Porto Moniz where you will see the beautiful natural pools, formed by the solidification of the lava on the sea water.
The stop to lunch will be in Ponta do Pargo where you will be seeing a stunning lighthouse and visit a view point called " O precipício".
Driving down the southwest coast we will stop on the village of Paul do Mar a very known fishing village with a waterfall near the pier.
After this amazing view over the sea we will visit the sugar cane honey factory located in Calheta .
The tour will end in Ponta do Sol known by the hotest and the suniest place on the island, returning back to Funchal.
Pick-up: Included in Funchal. Outside of this area, meeting point to be agreed.
