Pure Sail is a yacht charter and sailboat rental company based in the Azores islands, Portugal.
Our fleet consists of 11 and 12 meters (38-41 ft.) monohulls, and we provide bareboat yacht charters and skippered charters to our clients. Whether you are interested in exploring the waters of the archipelago on your own or you prefer to have a local skipper to sail you and your family, we always give our best to get you a yacht that is well maintained, fully equipped, and perfectly clean.
You don't even need to know how to sail to rent a skippered yacht and spend an incredible week getting to know the islands. You just have to focus on relaxing and enjoying the ride. A professional, experienced and friendly skipper will guide you and your friends or family, and show you the most incredible secrets that the Azores have to offer. All without worry. If ocean navigation is your "beach", the Azores are definitely a place not to be missed. A unique archipelago, isolated in the North Atlantic, formed by 9 very different islands, all close enough to be reached during your sailing trip. Both in the ocean and on land, your trip with a pure sail will be unforgettable. From unexpected encounters with sperm whales, a fun dolphin visit, or even a dip in the deep blue, these are some of the memories you will take home. On land, enjoy the greenery you have never seen before, live with a friendly local population and taste its traditional cuisine. ! Important:
- The price shown does not include Skipper (+150 €/day)
- The price shown does not include the cleaning fee (+150€ one-time fee)
- The itinerary to take depends on the number of days/charter duration that the customer chooses
- It is necessary to keep in mind that weekly check-ins and check-outs for charters are carried out on Saturdays so that we can better organize and enhance sales
OPTIONS / EXTRAS: Pre-paid 4G wifi hotspot: 35€ Rental Fee; Fishing gear: 50€ Rental Fee per week; Paddle Board: 100€ per week; Chef (One cabin will be for the crew): 100€ per day.
FUEL Departure and delivery with full tank: 2€/each missing liter. MARINA FEES Included: Ponta Delgada and Vila do Porto marina´s; Not Included: all other Azore´s marinas (15€ average price/night for a 40ft yacht).
ONE WAY TRIPS:
- Ports in Eastern Groups: 300€/trip;
- Ports in Central Groups: 400€/trip;
- Ports in Western Groups: 500€/trip;
EMBARK / DISEMBARK:
- Options Week: departure from 06.00 pm; delivery until 10.00 am;
- Options Weekend: departure Saturday from 10.00 am to Sunday 08.00 pm;
- Options by Days: departure from 10.00 am; delivery until 08.00 pm;
- Options 24H: departure from 10.00 am to 10.00 am.
CANCELLATION:
- Prior to 4 weeks before departure: deposit only;
- Prior to 2 weeks before departure: 75% of invoice amount;
- Less than 2 weeks before departure: 100% of the invoice amount. If we find another client for the same period 25% of the invoice amount.
INSURANCE (included): PURE SAIL has the appropriate insurance cover in accordance with the maritime touristic activity by the Portuguese Law. If you consider this insurance insufficient for your holiday and if you would like to add extra cover we strongly suggest that you hire your own insurance cover for cancellation, injury and personal liability.
