The Portugal Getaways Budget-Friendly Algarve Summer Package includes round-trip flights, 6 nights of hotel accommodation in the Algarve, and all taxes and fees related to the booking. Airport transfers, rental car, breakfast, meals, guided tours, and city taxes are not included. A rental car and airport transfers can be added during the booking process.

The package includes hotels ranging from 3 to 5 stars, and the package price varies depending on the hotel selected. Options include beachfront hotels, aparthotels, and apartment-style properties spread across the Algarve. Hotels are not always in the city center or directly on the beach, so some light walking or a short drive may be needed. No. All activities listed in the day-by-day itinerary, including the Ponta da Piedade boat tour, Benagil Caves, Lagos, Sagres, and the Seville day trip, are optional and at additional cost. If you plan to drive to Seville, note that cross-border fees apply and should be confirmed with the rental company in advance. Tours can be added during the booking process or by contacting the Portugal Getaways team directly.

Yes. Seville is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from the central Algarve and is one of the most popular day trips from the region. Guided bus tours with transport from the Algarve are available as an add-on and are a good option if you prefer not to drive across the border.

Yes. A day trip to Tangier in Morocco can be arranged as an add-on from the Algarve. It is a popular alternative to the Seville day trip for travelers who want to cross into Africa for the day. Contact the Portugal Getaways team when booking and we will include it in your quote.

Algarve summers are long and reliable. May and June bring mild warmth between 18°C and 26°C (64°F to 79°F), ideal for exploring without peak season crowds. July and August are the hottest and busiest months, reaching up to 30°C (86°F), with the best beach conditions but higher prices and more visitors. September and October stay warm at around 22°C to 28°C (72°F to 82°F), quieter, and one of the best times to visit for a relaxed summer break.

Ride-hailing apps have limited coverage in the Algarve outside the main resort towns. Taxis are available but become harder to find in rural areas and between beaches. Public buses exist but are infrequent and do not serve most attractions reliably. Canadian and US passport holders do not currently need a visa for Portugal for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Entry requirements are the traveler's responsibility and can change. The package price is based on two travelers sharing a room. Solo travelers pay a single supplement. Contact the Portugal Getaways team directly and we will make it easy. The land portion of your package is refundable if cancelled at least 14 days before your travel date. Airfare is non-refundable from the moment it is issued, but the Portugal Getaways team will always check with the airline to explore options.
