   Escape the daytime crowds and bask in the mystical atmosphere of Furnas' thermal waters at night. Imagine soaking in naturally heated pools under a canopy of stars – a truly magical experience.

   Your journey begins with a breathtaking stop at the Pico do Ferro viewpoint, where you'll marvel at the panoramic vista of the Furnas volcanic crater. Afterward, we'll whisk you away to the renowned Poça da Dona Beija thermal baths. These naturally warm waters are believed to possess therapeutic properties, offering the perfect opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate.

   The Lagoa do Fogo trail winds through a captivating display of native and endemic vegetation. As you traverse the 11-kilometer path, you'll gain a unique perspective of the stunning lagoon, unlike any other. While the trail boasts moderate climbs and descends towards Lagoa do Fogo, the challenge is undeniably rewarding. This unforgettable experience will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

8. Day 8 Saturday: Sete Cidades Hike (Included)

   

   Sete Cidades Hike (9 AM - 1PM)

   This trail, with a length of 5km, starts very close to the famous Lagoa do Canário, where we will see other magnificent lesser-known lakes, such as Lagoa Rasa and Lagoa das Éguas.

   It will be seen that there is a very humid microclimate and therefore rich in endemic plants.

   After seeing a little of the inner corners of the largest caldera in the Azores, the Sete Cidades caldera, we will have the possibility to go to the Boca do Inferno viewpoint. Easily with one of the best views on the island of São Miguel.

The luxuriously warm water (36º C/96º F degrees) and the unique atmosphere of the greenhouse create a haven of tranquility. Let the soothing waterfall lull you into a state of pure relaxation. Afterward, embark on a guided pineapple tour led by an expert (5 pm, 20-30 minutes). Learn about the fascinating process of cultivating this unique Azorean fruit and capture a memorable photo amidst the lush pineapple plants.

9. Day 9 Sunday: Sanguinho Hike (Included)

   

   Sanguinho Hike (9 AM - 4:30 PM)

   This incredible hike begins in the charming town of Faial da Terra, known locally as "The Nativity Scene of The Island" due to the small houses that are scattered along the mountain. The hiking trail starts guiding us through a valley historically plagued by pirate attacks. The trail culminates at the breathtaking Salto do Prego waterfall, passing a restored charming village – a reminder of the island's emigration history in the 60s and 70s. Once you reach Salto do Prego waterfall, feel free to grab your picnic lunch or go for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters!

   The hike initially ascends to Sanguinho, a place named after the abundant local endemic Frangula azorica. The path, offering spectacular views over the parish and the ocean, continues through a forest populated with Japanese Cedar and other species like Ginger lilies and Australian Cheesewood. After enjoying the serene environment at Salto do Prego, the return journey follows a stream flowing from the waterfall back to Faial da Terra, through vibrant vegetation.

   The tour concludes with a scenic drive along the island's coast back to Ponta Delgada. This comprehensive tour offers a full experience of São Miguel's rich landscapes, history, and culture, making it an unforgettable adventure.
