About the Experience
The activity starts from our offices towards Ávila where we will take a walking tour through the old town. Adnire the outside of the Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Basilica of San Vicente and a short Teresian route through the Church of San Juan Bautista and the convent house of Santa Teresa. Besides of course admiring its walls.
Then we will head towards Segovia. Upon arrival you can enjoy free time for lunch (lunch available as an option). Later we will start visiting the Plaza del Azoguejo where we will admire the impressive Roman Aqueduct, continue the walk through the old town to appreciate the Town Hall Square and the exteriors of the Gothic-style Cathedral. Then we will continue on our way to the 12th century Alcazar, an old fortified residence of the kings of Castilla, where we will visit its interior, accompanied by our expert guide.
Upon our return to Madrid, the visit will culminate close to Plaza España.
Lunch options
Touristic lunch: Farmhouse bean stew (judiones de la Granja), Segovianan beef with sides. Dessert. Drinks not included
Gastronomic lunch: Farmhouse bean stew (judiones de la Granja), Roasted suckling pig, typical Segovianan sponge cake with icecream (Tarta ponche), wine and water.
